Supported Formats & Recommendations
The metadata viewer and remover works primarily with JPEG files, which are the most common format for EXIF data. TIFF, HEIC, and WebP files with embedded metadata are also supported. PNG files typically contain minimal EXIF data but may include some metadata fields that the tool can display and remove. The cleaned output file retains the same format as the input. Note that converting an image to a different format (e.g., JPEG to PNG) may also remove some metadata, but our tool provides complete removal while preserving the original format and quality.
